Welcome

The Chairperson Sarah Allen and volunteers would like to thank veterans, their families and visitors old and new for making the museum such a growing success during 2023 and we look forward to seeing you when we next open April 14th 2024.

"I was so bound to those men and to that place that I felt sad and a little depressed at leaving. Something inside me said, "You belong here until this thing is over," and I suppose a part of me will always reamain at Ridgewell. John Comer 1988 (author of Combat Crew)

A bit about this museum - This is a growing private collection celebrating the life and times of the British and American servicemen and women that were stationed here in North East Essex, UK.. Whether you had a relative that was stationed here or you have an interest in history you will find something of interest within the museum.. The museum is set in the peaceful Essex countryside and the museum has free car parking and free entrance.
